Function:
Assumes leadership position in assisting the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in designing, managing, and monitoring the adequacy of S&T Bancorp, Inc.
and its subsidiaries (S&T) Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program utilizing a Governance, Risk and compliance (GRC) approach.
Direct supervision responsibilities of individuals assigned to the Risk Management function, including operational risk management.
This position will also be responsible for direct supervision of individuals functioning as liaisons to regulatory examiners and internal/external auditors.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the leadership, innovation, governance, and management of S&T's ERM program including the identification, measurement, monitoring, management, and reporting of Credit, Market, Liquidity, Operational, IT Operation & Security, Compliance/Legal, Strategic and Reputation risk throughout the organization.
Develops and maintains ERM/GRC Program, including tools, practices, and policies to analyze and report enterprise risks and to manage risks according to an enterprise risk management framework that is in accordance with bank industry and regulatory expectations and guidance.
Provides supervisory oversight of risk management functions, including but not limited to corporate policy formation and administration, enterprise fraud risk program, model risk management, regulatory change management, new products and services, and vendor management program Drives the risk assessment processes associated with strategic decisions and emerging risk across the enterprise to ensure enterprise risks are monitored as conditions change.
Develops associated policies, programs, systems, and processes.
Works in partnership with all Risk Management disciples to ensure clear, concise, and comprehensive risk management practices and reporting.
Provides risk insights to executives, line of business management and the Risk Committee in a collaborative which includes but is not limited to:
assisting in the development, assessment and monitoring of performance metrics and mitigation plans for enterprise risk to ensure all risks, current and emerging, are managed to an acceptable level.
Supports and participates in S&T's Strategic Planning, ALCO, PMO processes from a risk perspective, and other activities as necessary to identify and monitor risk across the organization.
Under the direction of the CRO, provides a Quarterly ERM Report to the Risk Committee of the Board of Directors including a summary narrative of any changes in S&T's risk profile and/or risk categories; Key Risk Indicators, tolerances, trends including current and emerging; and Management Action Plans.
Develops and provides organizational ERM training and creates awareness through periodic ERM training material updates to support the overall risk culture of S&T.
Manages regulatory examinations conducted by the FDIC, Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities and the Federal Reserve.
Directs, oversees, and reports on management's corrective actions to the Risk Committee and/or Board.
Supports the CRO in meeting expense initiatives by overseeing the budget and forecast development and variance analysis for each department within Risk Management.
Responsible for all federal and state applications related to opening, closing, and relocation of branches and limited purpose offices and coordinating with appropriate Management across the organization.
Maintains a good working relationship with all S&T employees.
Demonstrates the ability to work independently.
Works as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn the organization.
Performs additional duties as required.
Physical Demands Uses manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry up to 40% of the business day.
Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 lbs.
Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18-20 for computer work.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
