Provides internal and external customer service in a centralized Loan Servicing Center and performs various administrative and clerical duties in support of the operation of the Loan Systems Department (Insurance/Escrow processing, Credit Insurance Servicing.
) Provides support to management and staff peers as a senior level Servicing Specialist.
Is expected to have general working knowledge of all functions of the Department Duties and
Responsibilities:
Will perform some of the following functions for the servicing of loans at a high level of proficiency and Independence:
Credit Insurance/ Debt Cancellation Servicing - Includes but is not limited to Assists customers with claims Processing Payments Assists customers with general and high level issues that arise Assists S&T Bank Accounting Department with the monthly reconcilement of new and current business PMI Servicing - Includes but is not limited to Processing monthly payments to Servicers Assists customers with the cancellation process.
Assists with the Annual PMI Disclosure FNMA Processing - Includes but is not limited to Daily reporting of Monthly and Biweekly payments using SURF Daily Cash Remittance using SURF Loading Participations on all New FNMA Loans Sold Trouble shoot general and high level issues that may arise Escrow Servicing - Incudes but not limited to Organizes and assists with the Semi-Annual Tax payment Processing including preparing tax bills to be paid and paying tax bills before the Discount Date Assists with the payment of Annual Hazard and Flood Insurance for customers Monitors various daily reports such as the New escrow report and daily payoff report Assists customers with general and high level questions and issues Assists Department Manager with the Annual Escrow Analysis Has a high level understanding of the Annual Escrow Analysis process and calculation Can prepare and understand Manual Escrow Analysis for customers Performs general and high level account maintenance such as billing adjustments, payment schedules, etc.
related to Credit Insurance, PMI, and Escrow Researches and resolves questions for both internal & external customers Completes special projects as assigned by department Manager in support of Merger/Acquisition, Product Development and General Customer Service Maintains a good working relationship with all bank employees.
Demonstrates the ability to work independently.
Works as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn the organization.
Assumes additional duties as required Physical Demands Utilizes fingers and manual dexterity skills for typing, filing, and data entry on a frequent basis, up to 95% of the business day.
Possess the ability to focus visually at a close distance of 18-20 for a period of up to 85% of the business day.
Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 lbs, stand, walk, and reach with hand and/or arm throughout the business day.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
