Function:
Product Manager for the core banking system (FIS) products and associated financial technology solutions.
Responsible for the oversight and management of product strategy, roadmaps, and capabilities.
Acts as a strategic collaborator responsible for working with a variety of stakeholders to define and prioritize high impact initiatives and features related to product lifecycle.
Additionally, this leader will work with business partners serving as the interface between business lines, system administration, PMO, Information Technology and additional areas as needed.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Understands business and user priorities, and technical feasibility to prioritize the product backlog and handle risks.
Works hand-in-hand with product delivery counterparts to seamlessly pass work into the delivery team.
Assists with establishing and communicating the different product visions up, down, and across the organization.
Assist with the management of Vendor Relationship with core banking provider from a strategic and design perspective to maximize delivery optimization in accordance with the organization's risk appetite.
Monitors SOC and related vendor risk reports and performs annual risk assessment.
Collaborates with diverse business stakeholder teams to develop product roadmaps.
Works with stakeholders, business lines, and vendor partner teams to understand the business strategy and then translates that into features requirements.
Owns and drives achievement of system specific KPIs as developed in conjunction with LOB engagement and strategic alignment.
Defines analytics to be collected regarding the products and prioritizes their collection.
Manages the billing and accounts payable for core banking products and services (FIS); prepares and tracks budget progress.
Understands contract relationship and assists in negotiating pricing discounts, SLA credits, and the management of contractual price increases or additions.
Maintains relationships with vendor leadership inclusive of Product and Support Managers, Customer Success Manager, and Managing Director; serves as escalation point for core banking system issues including but not limited to support tickets, projects, and implementations.
Actively manages features and dependencies in and across product releases.
Actively works to identify and remove/mitigate risks and blockers to product delivery.
Assesses the overall health of the core banking products and prompts key decisions to move it forward.
Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication throughout product life cycles.
Assumes additional duties as directed.
Maintains a positive and collaborative working relationship with all bank employees.
Demonstrates the ability to work independently.
Works as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn the organization.
Physical Demands Operates a keypad device:
70% of the day; operates electronic equipment:
30% of the day.
Requires the use of manual dexterity skills for typing up to 40% of the business day.
Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18-20' for computer work.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
